Hollywood Bowl with A.R.Rahman
Bollywood Step Dance was the only Bollywood dance troupe in Southern California to represent Bollywood dancing at the Hollywood Bowl. Bollywood Step Dance brought the stage to life with their dance performances to live singing with AR Rahman (world-renowned composer – "Bombay Dreams"). "Bollywood Night" at the Hollywood Bowl was a part of the World Summer Series and was a sold out event with 18,000 audience members.
CBS.com BBCUE Bill
The troupe was featured in an episode of BBCUE Bill, a new internet series. Troupe members represented the Bollywood style of dancing with glitz and glamour, while working with Rick Nareja.
Bollywood 101 Show with Bollywood Actor Boman Irani
The troupe performed in Monterrey Bay, CA for TATA Consultancy Services corporate summit for Bollywood Night. The troupe worked with Bollywood Celebrity Boman Irani and Comedian McMilan for this grand performance comprised of an international audience. The Choreography and Bollywood Style of Dance took the audience through the different genres of Bollywood, from the 1960's to present time.
Bollywood Film
Bollywood Step Dance coordinated dancers for the Bollywood blockbuster film "Deewane Hue Pagal" where they had the opportunity to work with Bollywood celebrities and crew. The sequence was shot at the Santa Monica Pier. Bollywood Step Dance is also bringing their work to the Hollywood arena and is currently working on other projects in the industry.
Bollywood Workshop
At our Bollywood Workshops, people of all ages and ethnicities had the opportunity to experience the exotic East Indian style of dancing while getting a good workout!
South Asia Pageant At The Queen Mary
The troupe provided the opening number for this exquisite pageant with Celebrity guest
Steven Segal, Namrata Gujral-Cooper and Tabla Girl Tina Sugandh.
Santa Monica Festival
The troupe provided a Bollywood extravaganza for the audience, showcasing various styles and songs from Bollywood. This was the first time the festival featured a Bollywood showcase.
