Correspondent and documentary producer Rashmi Goel was the only South Asian woman to be nominated for an Emmy this year. In addition to being nominated she was also asked to present a category with political reporter Dave Bryant from CBS/KCAL 9 at the Local Los Angeles Area Emmys held at the Academy of Television of Arts and Sciences.
