The ninth annual Hollywood gala will be held on May 28, 2009 at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel, featuring a performance by six-time Grammy winner Toni Braxton and Bollywood Step Dance. Each year the “Loop Award” is bestowed upon a deserving member of the entertainment industry for their efforts to further the cause of Lupus LA. The 2009 award will be presented to Nancy Utley, President of Fox Searchlight Films, the studio that brought us The Wrestler and eight-time Oscar winner Slumdog Millionaire.
